FIRST DOWN FRENCHMAN is a barrel money winner and barrel producing buckskin son of the legendary barrel horse sire FRENCHMANS GUY and out of the great mare EVENING TRAFFIC. When given the opportunity to own this horse we definitely were excited about the prospect of owning a son out of both of these exceptional producers. FRENCHMANS GUY is an all-time leading sire in the barrels and Evening Traffic has produced 7-barrel money earners and 2 money earners on the track. Her progeny have amassed earnings nearing $700k + including First Down Frenchmans’ full sister, Morning Traffic (Martini) who has won over $500K and ran at the NFR with STEVIE HILLMAN. This is First Down Frenchman’s 3rd colt crop out of our own broodmares and we feel he is going to make a big impact in our program.
His foals 2020 foals are eligible for the Glacier Chaser Classic, 5 State, Colorado Classic, Who’s Your Daddy, BBR Select Stallion Stakes, VGBRA, and Future Fortunes.
2021 foals will be eligible for Futures Fortunes, Select Stallion Stakes, Tomorrow’s Legends, and Glacier Chaser Classic and Homegrown Classic Stallion Incentive.
