When Tres My Fame was injured in a breeding accident last summer our great friends Danielle Sparing and Carmel Wright did not hesitate to offer there beautiful stallion SMOOTHASTENESEEWISKY to us to finish up our season. Whisky is an own son of A Smooth Guy and out of our mare Tarin Ta Fame (that ironically was Carmel’s barrel mare before we bought her). Whisky himself is proven in the barrels and roping arena. He is ran by Danielle in barrels and her husband Timmy ropes on him.

The Paddys Shota Merada daughters are a mainstay in our program, we have 4, and they have been great all-around producers for us as they have are out of our old Paddy’s Irish Whiskey stallion that we stood for years. This cross has produced some nice rope horses for us, a money earning barrel horse as a 5-year-old, and is a full brother to Kelsey Lutjens’ up and coming futurity colt who she calls one of the most talented colts she has ever ridden. Penny crossed on Shaker is a near 100% money winning cross to date! Don’t let the cow breeding in this colt fool you, these colts can flat run.
